Yet again a scandinavian marvel.. Enough!
Music For Modern Man sounds like nothing you've heard before (we put you to the test). Lyrics full of humour on elaborate and exquisite sounds, "new pop" style.
There are only three things left for you to do: Buy the album on Itunes, feed your mp3 consequently and pray that they come to France.

Do you consider yourself as a "Modern Man"? What does being a "Modern Man" mean to you?
The term "modern man" is used in the most broad sense, so it pretty much includes the total human race. No animals, no plants, no neanderthals - just the rest of us :-)

Here's a good hint on who the modern man could be...

So, yes, I guess I'm included..

How would you define your music?
Alternative pop music. I try to make each song unique and individuel from both each other and other artist's pop music. My songs are very different from each other genre- and mood-wise, so I guess I also use the definition 'alternative pop music' in the broadest sense. Does that make sense to you?

What has changed in your life since the release of your album?

I have released albums before, with Superheroes and Private, but this is the first album where I'm the musical main man. I actually feel pretty calm about it. Last week we played the first MfMM concerts, and for the first time I had to sing lead vocals and stuff. I wasn't the nervous wreck I thought I would be - it feels good! So I guess that's the biggest change, that I can actually do something I thought I couldn't.

In your dream album, which artists would be featured?
Oh, man...hmm.
I don't really have that many thoughts and wishes when it comes to working with major artists. I often read in music magazines and on the web about big artists, both because I admire their music and I'm interested in how they are as a person. But in these articles there's always a 'but' - a story about how they treated someone very bad, how they are unpleasant and selfish in personal or something like that. I'm quite sure most people are treated as 'a nobody' by for an example Dylan or Morrissey - they are used to people wanting something from them, so they have to put up somekind of shLienield, so you'll never get close. I'd much rather just work with the people I work with, who I like a lot and who're terrific artists and musicians, or other people who are 'reachable'.
Of course if someone major artist I dig came to me because of what I'm capable of, I'd love to work with them !
